In the bustling heart of Philadelphia, amidst the vibrant tapestry of its neighborhoods, lies a beacon of hope and resilience—the Delivering Service with Love (DSL) Community Center. Founded in 2012 by Donald Lewis, Sophia Lewis, and Lizette Lewis, this center stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of its founders to foster inclusivity, education, and opportunity, while promoting stability through collaborative initiatives and sustainable practices.

At the core of DSL's mission are five guiding principles: Empowerment, Inclusivity, Opportunity, Stability, and Resilience. These are not merely words, but the driving force behind every action taken by the organization. From providing essential nutritional support through programs like Soup for Souls, to offering mentorship and academic assistance through Life-Long Educational Advancement for Children (LLEAC), and delivering heartfelt messages of hope and support through Amelia’s Gill Missionary, DSL leaves no stone unturned in its quest to uplift and empower communities.

As we stand on the cusp of a new chapter, the vision of a revitalized community center pulses through the air—a space teeming with life, laughter, and dreams for a brighter future. The DSL Community Center, though a symbol of resilience, is ready for transformation. With the support of individuals like you, DSL aims to infuse its walls with new vitality, turning it into a sanctuary—a beacon of hope for the neighborhood it serves.
